funk, check the excellent bxboards.com for lots of details on exactly what RAM modules work at what speeds.

I've had excellent luck with COMP USA 128 SDRAM modules by PNY. Lifetime warranties, $149.99 (tho I think they went up this week) and best of all, a 10-day no restock fee return policy (in case they don't work.) These have been great up to 100mHz/450 mHz--I haven't tried Oc'ing them further. Others on the thread, notably Dan, have a BH6-celeron combo working up at 112/504 mHz.

Bottom line is that quality PC 66 RAM is often "good enough" for all but bleeding edge (<100 mHz) performance.

Again good luck,

Dave

In my overclocked system I am using 128 meg Samsung PC100 G8 cas3 ram. This is one step down from the latest GH cas2 ram that is available, but as noted on many sites, GH is only needed if trying to go to 124mhz, which is not possible on a Celeron.

FWIW, my Celeron is a boxed Malaysian SL32A week 40 CPU. I have it running rock solid in an Abit BH6 at 504mhz (112x4.5) 2.2 volts.
If you have a choice on which CPU, I'd try for a SL32A, with it you have a good chance to get to 504 mhz very easily.
I buy my MB,ram and CPU's at mushkin.com. Not always the cheapest, but great service and almost always in stock.

Good Luck
Dan
