You said, "You may be short CREE but, i.e., on Datek you cannot short CREE as there are no shares available." What does this mean? What do you mean by no shares available? I bought CREE late last week. If you're willing, explain what it means to "be short" and why you cannot short CREE because of no shares. Sorry for the elementary lesson, but some of us have resources and maybe not your knowledge. SI is a great learning tool for those of us who want to learn about technology investing and are willing to put in the time. Consider this explanation a contribution to the sector. Thanks.
