There's forward P/E and historical P/E. For valuation purposes, forward P/E are used because there's no use crying over spilt milk. So we'll have to use forecasts and management guidance.

Many published P/Es are historical because those don't change, and are easy for market-wide comparisons.

Creative's PEG ratio is on the high side, if you use earnings before exceptionals (because earnings growth is expected to be single digit). Should be about 3x or something. But if you use reported earnings, then PEG should be about 0.3 or thereabouts, very attractive.
