Jay,

One thing I've recently noticed is that it sometimes helps to increase the influence periods used on the related issues.

This has cleared up some of the false sell signals I had at the beginning of November. I've gone up to 20 days S/T on related stocks, sector and industry indexes with good results.

I generally agree that it's much better to use only sector and industry indexes, and not a general market index, assuming I can can find ones that are appropriate.
