<I am currently retraining some nets without using any general market indices.> If you're not using stocks or general market indices, what are you using as your relateds? Just the industry index? I was really surprised that catp got a sell... technically it looks like it's ready to take off.

Jay, One thing I've recently noticed is that it sometimes helps to increase the influence periods used on the related issues. This has cleared up some of the false sell signals I had at the beginning of November. I've gone up to 20 days S/T on related stocks, sector and industry indexes with good results. I generally agree that it's much better to use only sector and industry indexes, and not a general market index, assuming I can can find ones that are appropriate. CL
