Hello John :

Would you please agree with me in prayer over a marriage. Lets call this couple Adam and Eve. Eve is desperate to save her marriage. Her husband is having an affair with a woman that just left her husband. To be honest I do not know what Adam's problem is other than the allure of sin that quickly brings death and destruction. I'm trying hard not to be judgmental but Eve is a wonderful woman that deserves better.

I pray and ask the Lord to place insurmountable obstacles in Adam's pathway to sin. I am talking of house sized boulders and landslides and tidal waves in Adam's path. I would ask the Lord to hedge Adam in so tightly that he can hardly turn around to sin. I ask the Lord to create the vision in Adam's mind that this new person is as ugly as a 2000 year old mummie. Then I ask the wife's capacity to forgive soar to new heights and I ask the Lord to create a new love in this marriage that can only be explained as a gift from the love giver. I ask the Lord to create in Adams mind the capacity for a passionate romantic love for his wife. I then ask that this couple to be able to acknowledge that the new love they find for each other can only be explained as a gift of grace from God. Amen.

P.S. Lord this sounds so good while You are thinking about romantic love inject all the marriages of the posters on this thread with a fresh dose of passionate romantic love.TOO. Amen.
