about 5 years total but really only the last two with any activity. Generally, I make about 20-30 trades a week at the moment and that is while I am working at my current job (I am in publishing). I have been able to do quite well on the whole and I feel my skills and ability would improve dramatically with full concentration and tools such as level II. I have seen some dramatic swings in my portfolio this year alone. January through April I was up 500%. Between May and early Sept. I lost all my gains and went fairly deep into the red. I learned alot of things during this period, not the least of which was that the surly reputation of BB stocks is as accurate as can be. Thankfully, with the recent internet frenzy I have climbed back so that I am now up about 50% overall for the year. There is no question that I am still learning many aspects of the game, but I am interested in posibly taking the chance of doing this full time. Based on various sceanrios that I have worked up it seems attainable so I am hoping to gather the insights and experience of those that may have done this already.
