I believe I read that Sun used 120 computers for "Toy Story". I knew it was a big deal for Sun technically. I had not considered the SGI angle. What happened to SGI? For the folks who wanted graphics, SGI use to be the leader. I agree that Sun should improve their graphics capabilities!!!! Lots of work to be done in that area!!!!! I wanted my husband to use a Sun workstation for last project but he used top-of-the-line HWP work station because it offered what he needed for graphics. PS: I am HWP shareholder as well but I would like to see Sun excell in graphics.
