Merritt

The reason that record is so cheap at Amazon is the last thing they want to do is make money. What if they earned 2 cents ? People might start to say, a $216 stock earned a measly 2 cents for a PE of 1080 ? As long as they lose money, they should be OK. <g>

Glad to be of help. Merritt, have you ever tried the used CD stores? If you look around, there are some very nice independent ones that allow you to sit and listen to any cd before you buy. The CD's run about $6-8 and they will take back any that are defective. Plus they tend to have very eclectic selections -- much better than retail stores. I tend to buy most of my CD's that way now-a-days. You have to look around for a nice shop though, where the owner cares about customer service.
