Recently dug out a recording of the Band of Gypsies live on the Isle of Wight. I really wonder who the poor person was who had to get up on stage after that. Also how Clapton felt when Jimi cranked out "Sunshine of Your Love" to the tenth power. It's only for certain moments, but nobody else compares. I can listen to Malmsteen, Satriani, Holdsworth, and be impressed, but 5 minutes later I've forgotten the songs. Not so with Hendrix. Steve PS.
