Sure do. This was a Antique customer I met at a show. We got on the subject in a round about way.

After a purchase he said he would not get through here again this year, probably not till the year 2001. I was taken back by that and asked why?

Thats when he told me about Y-2k. He said , when does the government ever meet deadlines?

Any Y-2k companies snagging a government contract, did I hear rumors???

A) USA has no Y-2k problems (gg)

B) USA is waiting to get closer the year 2000 before awarding contracts.

C) ALYD has all the contracts but forgot to tell us!

Do you have any GOOD rumors Jeff?

What we need to do is hire Newt as our lobbyist. Don't laugh! He is from the state of Georgia, where ALYD has gotten at least one state contract. Newt may well be aware of it, and consequently, ALYD. In a month or two he will be looking for a job and we know already he has concerns about Y2K readiness. I believe he could be quite passionate about it.

Regards,
Chuck

p.s. Please pass my suggestion on to someone at ALYD. All I ask is a personal note of thanks from Gruder if it works out. Oh, and a few thousand shares. ;-)
