I uninstalled Communicator after I backed it up to tape. After reinstalling it (I did keep the downloaded Exe file for 4.06 so didn't have to download it again) everything seems to work. It's late so I'm going to bed. All I have to do tomorrow is copy back my address book and bookmark file. I will try to copy back my emails that I want on the drive and see what happens. This time when I get it running I will immediately make a tape backup. Thanks for your help.

Rich or anyone,

I have my Communicator back up and running except for my address book. I tried to find it in my backup to tape but can't locate it. Isn't it suppose to be "address.htm". That's what the bookmark file was(bookmark.htm). Anyone know what the name of the file is?
