Hi Clint,

perception is more important than the actual benchmarks. As you know I am both a mac and pc user but keep coming back to using mac's for almost all of my regular usage except for some TA software. I am keeping on eye on supply and demand equation for all computers. Past two weeks of inventory at CPU, BBY and Fry's makes me believe that there will be a glut in the retail chain.. if the christmas sales are not outstanding whether it is mac or a pc. BTW business sales of mac is not an issue at this point since they have very low installed base. More critical to them is education market. They are trying to use consumer market for growth and it is not to difficult to achieve it near term because of their very low market share. AAPL is going to be coming with a new product cycle at Jan Macworld. If the new products are not received well.. I guess it will be shorting candidate. There are rumors that IMac price will drop to $999 shortly.

I agree with you on LHSPF. It is not behaving properly after it's earnings report.

Later,

Suresh
