I was speaking there more of the effect of the y2k panic on the PoG - irrational though I believe that to be, it looks like it could have an impact, it's being ballyhooed as an ace-in-the-hole for teotwawki ... well, it is the time-honoured fall-back store of value, so I suppose it makes sense if you think 01/01/00 is Doomsday .... but I don't.
I like golds for what I consider to be more logical reasons, like the Euro's coming.
Bullion really does have a massive short on it ... the carry trade has been huge.

About all I know of y2k stocks I picked up by following FBNers around to y2k threads.
Jeffrey Mitchell's comments on the Alydaar (sp?) thread months ago sounded logical and informative on the subject generally, but I've forgotten most detail ..... I don't do techstocks ... bought ibm years ago, lost money, was cured for life -g-
