In todays Globe and Mail: "NEXX' Bell's proposed new network firm (known as NATCO for now),new national high speed network company will be launched in jan99. It plans to sell capacity on high speed fibre-optic lines to internet service providers, and sell advanced electronic commerce service for large business networks. Its interesting to see Bell's web of e-com unfold. Mpact, part of the Bell Emergis may benefit from this, EDI and more recently bill-pay. The Jan launch is the same timing as the Cdn Financial's selection of who's billpayment software will be selected. Not sure if its coincidence or is there some relationship between the 2 events.
