The first time I heard this phrase was when George Bush used in to characterize Ronald Reagan's economic position in a debate for the presidency in 1982. I think it was New Hampshire. Thank you. I stand corrected. Arthur Laffer now has his own company and resides in Rancho Santa Fe, a very exclusive neighborhood in San Diego. BTW, I remember having a dialog with you about options with quantitative analysis. Your arguments are always supported with excellent points making intellectually stimulating and exciting.
