Mike,

1. It's a heck of a lot easier to build last year's chip to compete with Intel low end than to compete at the leading edge of technology.

I seem to have forgotten. Was Intel selling 400 Mhz chips last year?

2. AMD is unprofitable, and will continue to be unprofitable.

Your concern for Intel is unjustified.

What me worry?

Hi Mike,

Thank you for your response. I agree with you that AMD is unprofitable. And AMD's unprofitable mentality is what's scaring me. They don't mind loosing, all they want to do is to some how make it tough on Intel. It almost seems that Jerry Sanders has some thing personal against Intel.

As for my worries over K7, it has been eased by Saturn V's analysis.
