Of course, as you well know Gus, that is why we were all hoping AXC would find something in their patents to address much larger markets. KM and the litigation were their attempts. So far. But if they have anything up their sleeve beyond the new MicroNet products, I do not know what it might be.

I agree that there seems to be a bigger potential market in tape drives, especially when they are prominently used in some academic centers:

One of the potential engineering problems as FC ramps up is the difficulty using FC interfaces with tape drives. I have heard this is a problem if you are using frame modes as opposed to circuit based switching (class 1) and that it also might be a problem based on the topology of the fabric. I know about the performance of FC hard drives. How do Ampex tape drives compare in terms of performance?
