hi cpq thread,
cpq previously announced that they will begin using rambus rdram memory in 1999. kingston and toshiba released info last week that they are shipping rdram memory to dell.
have there been any announcements about shipments of rambus rdram to cpq from samsung, mu or any other dram companies?
has cpq set a date for initial shipments of pc's using rambus rdram?
thanks in advance,
unclewest

KenyaAA: Understood.

"Kumar is an important analyst for CPQ" Not for me. He has been consistently too negative.

KenyaAA; Consensus has a meaning - and it is different from average. The services you mention may call the average of a range of predictions a consensus but it isn't. It is an average. A consensus would imply that all the analysts got together and thrashed out a figure they could all live with. It is not mere semantics. It is important to know that .37 is derived from a range of higher and lower predictions from serious analysts.
