Does management at WAVO have a clue?

First they do a floorless convertible jobby to raise cash. Then their stock price falls and they announce a stock buy back. (If they had money for a buy back how come they did the convertible?) Now, they say they "may look to investors in early 1999 to infuse cash into the Phoenix data broadcasting company."

<<WAVEPHORE INC may look to investors in early 1999 to infuse cash into the Phoenix data broadcasting company, Chief Executive David Deeds told CNBC Wednesday. "Our cash position at the moment is in good shape. ... If the revenues come in the fashion we expect, there's a chance we'll be looking at the investment community in the first half of next year," Deeds said. Interest in WavePhore has increased since it announced earlier that it agreed to use Wave Systems' Embassy commerce content metering and payment system. The transaction allows WavePhore to charge users for certain services - essentially an commerce channel. (Dow Jones) >>

You good folks seem to be attracting some attention -

Subject 24099

Which starts out with this little 'gem'. ( I'm not making this up )

It has come to my attention that SI is riddled with various organizations commited to un-American activities such as shorting stocks.
Typically these nefarious people:
1.Read SEC documents and use the data to their advantage. (Aren't press releases good enough for these people?)
