Although the day is young and I do not expect RMBS to go up in a straight line anyway. But any strength on the opening would negate any impact of the news you posted.

rdram is shipping now. intel has declared rdram the new memory standard for computers for the next 5 years. there will be some room for sdram and ddrdram etc, while the world changes to rdram.

i predict "rdram inside" promotions right after the holidays. wouldn't that be a great use for all the extra royalty money rambus is going to get from the spiraling sales of nintendo 64.

This was the DDR news that I mentioned last week.
It was only a data point and was not thinking it would impact Rambus
necessarily. There are always going to be competition. I think
a couple of chip sets are going to support this but most will be
custom for Servers etc. It may do better in Graphics.
