Check the news on Echostar/News Corp./WCOM this morning. DISH will take the 110 slot, 2 Loral built sats, and various other "stuff" in exchange for shares. That will make a formidable system. Huge capacity, extensive coverage, the ability to provide a wide variety of services, no litigation, set top box sales---many many positives to outweigh the dilution of the shares. Loral gets to finally launch the two birds it has built for MCI. Primestar is dead now. All pending regulatory approval of course.
