RE: Some institution(s) continue(s) to unload

Two early blocks of 3200 and 2600 went at 6 1/2. To me, it seemed that MMs had known in advance of sales and adjusted their bids accordingly. Very quickly, they moved their bid-ask - on very light buying volume to 6 13/15- 7/8. Another block of 3200, a sale, went at the bid of 6 13/16. Nothing seems to faze the MMs: (to me) they seem to anticipate the stock going up. All this on a very weak market day: DOW -103, NAZ -30, RUT -3.5. It could change dramatically if the market continues to deteriorate, but right now MRVC is doing great.

Thanks for the Pronetlink info. I had not heard of them before, but it looks like something I want to check out.

I've done business with CheckPoint, RAD (and almost all of their subs.) and MRV. RAD has some of the best widgets in the world for solving various WAN and LAN situations. They are kind of like MRV having some of the best widgets in the world for Fiber to Whatever.

Both companies, however, have made the "barrier to entry" for reselling their products very low. A lot of the higher-end systems integrators don't want to introduce products (that are widely distributed by low end integrators) into their bigger accounts, if the possibility exists of losing an order for $600,000 of networking gear to an integrator that has nothing more invested than 'the trunk of his car.'

But, I am loading up on MRVC right now, because I suspect we are about to see a good correction.
