I think this announcement of Lapin as a new executive working on "mergers and acquisitions" may depress the price in the near term. I am confident that a year from now the stock price will be at least 40, but I can't see any way to interpret this news today except as a warning that THQ might do something dilutive within the next three or four months. I wouldn't be surprised if the stock price drifts back to the $26 range this week and trades between 25 and 30 for a while.
