I have two from the fwiw file:

1. Dell shipped by Airborne Express, no cheaper option, got next day cost 120.00

2. Manley from Saloman Smith Barney had a good quote this a.m. on Squawk Box. Referring to Russian default on bonds denominated in rubles he said this had never happened (a country defaulting on bonds denominated in their own currency.) before. Ron Insana said well there were 300 million in derivatives written on it and that caused chaos throughout the world. Manley said Yeah the derivative people "didn't have a greek letter for something that had never happened before". I thought that was cute. And right up your alley with your disdain for black holes.
