Lynn, I was not taking notes when I watched their CEO on "Squawk Box" this morning but he came on while there was a lot of excitement at the opening prices of Internet stocks. Here's what I remember: There was an emphasis on the new free search engine install 2 &1/2 weeks ago which allows a "safe" online experience. Discussed that in addition to portal and the new music store, company does WEB consulting services for _____(they named several large nonprofits). Asked him something like "how do you defend your stock valuation" or "on what basis are these Internet stocks being valued" (as in if we use "traditional" methods -- values are "high") and "when do you expect to turn profitable." CEO did a pretty good job of sounding positive without making a commitment (I think he said something like they were expecting to start becoming profitable in the next couple of quarters). They did pin him down to a "number" for WEB visitors -- I think he said the home page was getting 50,000 hits (a day?). He emphasized the potential size of the market and the number of Christians who were already surfing the WEB (I think that was over a million). Sorry I can't be more precise but I haven't watched this show often enough to grasp the high speed pace. I've found that if I tape a segment, I have to watch it about 3 times to really "assess" the performance of a guest. However, I decided that is not a 'true' measure of how the typical viewer who would only watch it once is going to feel so I've stopped taping them.

Lynn, Just got in from the salt mines where there was no computer so could not answer your question in a timely fashion. But I see that someone did and reflected pretty much the essence of what the interview was about. I'll add that I'm glad Parker emphasized the portal attributes during the interview. IMO, today's action underscored the belief of some that gaps always need to be filled--always. At mid teens, Amen, IMO, is based for a new high during the next run. Looking forward to digesting the news re: Gabelli and Quantum. These are two supurlative entities to ally with. Lazarre
