TED, I programmed CAD verification software for a few years while
at TI. My errors were flagged, easily correct, and the program was
rerun. When software design errors were uncovered, I worked with
the program designer to let him know the defects within the architectural extractions. I don't know your familiarity with
schematic extraction or design rule verification, but it was an interesting experience. Especially extracting unwanted parasitic
devices that affected the integrity of the layout. Hmmm, maybe I should drop stocks and get a job at a bank. Then again, that's work :-)
