This could be a reasonable move to fulfill the perspective that one should "always take the time to pay yourself". This comment is applicable to all money making ventures, be it stocks, gambling or simply working for someone else. My perspective is that he is past due to sell what amounts to 1 million shares, as of January 1, 1998. We are thankfull for what we have received.
He did good!!!!!!!!!! X 2 X 2
Enjoy!

Looks like he's on his usual, consistent track of quarterly selling. More proof that Mr. Dell (and/or his advisors) continues to be wise in his building and preservation of wealth.

I'd be concerned if he insisted on keeping all of his eggs in one basket (no matter how sure a thing it may be).

Regards,

LoD

Hi Spaw: <msd sells 4M more> ACTUALLY, I WISH HE WOULD SELL HALF HIS SHARES! He owns way too much for my taste. He can have his money. I don't think Bill Gates is more motivated, because his shares are there. Gates has all he needs to stimulate him right there (although I feel he is a major major major major shareholder in amzn). MSD may want to start another company, who knows. Can you imagine the ideas which cross his desk, which do not fit into Dell; maybe 20 solid and good ideas per week? He wouldn't even have to run the thing. Separately, as CEO of Dell, I do believe msd will correct the Wall Street interface problem which we have been talking about here. btw, I held on to my Dell, because of the way I read the market right now. But I did just buy 4000 shares of nscp, thanks to what I read into rudedog's post 82874==which of course, is my own personal reading. Anyway, now I feel "diversified"! But this is probably all the diversification I can stand! <gg>
btw people here locally have been telling me I should get in touch with you. Want to talk about multiple monitor trading under Win 98 for now, and real time options sharts====even if we have to pay someone to "program" some kind of linkage for us. Unlike Sig, I can not think about options unless I can "see" the real time relative movement of same. Would you pm me a way to call you, when you are not busy?
