Craig and others. I use Schwab AND I know I pay more in
comissions, yet do to the fact that I trade a lot schwab
has given me the oportunity to work with a trading team
for those who trade a lot. So this morning when I couldn't
place my trade I called them and they placed it for me and
I stilled paid the online commission price.

So by far today and on other occassions the ability to
contact a live trader to place my trades has offset the
higher commission fees.

At least you managed to sell. I was in a meeting from an hour before marked open and when I came out the eggs were scrambled to mid-twenties. Finally managed to sell when they came back up to 30, still, -7$ .... sheesh.

Why does Datek have EGGS tacked "no margin" now? Something to do with volatility?
