I'm always suspicious of stock splits and issuing additional shares. 4.6 million shares is a nice chunk of change...keep in mind that 600,000 goes to the underwriter. So many of these bids and asks are single blocks. Too easy to manipulate and drive the price up. I expect to go long post-split in the low 20's.

Okay, I think I see your point. On a stock like AOL or AT&T or whatever, where you have many times the shares out & theoretically
many times the liquidity, then your analysis would hold true to
form?

Whereas in NEON, one mutual fund (assuming there are some), comes in
and decides to sell 100,000 shares at 2:48pm...the stock chart
looks like the glide pattern of Wyle E. Coyote going over a cliff
with an anvil in his hands. <g>

This sell-off looks very broad. For what it's worth, I see two
stocks up out of about 50 I watch. Really kind of weird...
gold is down, utilities are down, stocks are down, Treasury Rates
are down, Japan,Hong Kong, London, & Mexico are down.

A good day to be an Ostrich.

Thanks for your technical interpretation.

Best Regards,

Doug
