Renwick makes it seem like NCII and IBM have already inked a deal: "The IBM introduction (Microdrive) now enables Norris' technology to reach the desired high capacity markets."

However, my conversation with Chet left me believing that the larger the memory, the less there is the need for optimal memory management (MicroOS).

I was also under the impression that when IBM announced the Microdrive, it didn't care whether there was a MicroOS in existence or not.

Walter, that's quite a comparison. To be fair to CDN though, that loss was a one time charge for reorg. Best, Savant
