Fred; OSX actually not doing too badly considering that oil now around $11. Gold and CRB also getting smashed today. CRB either at or on the verge of a new low.

Greenspan's easing moves have done wonders for blue chips stocks but have had no impact at all on commodities. This suggests considerably more easing to come. But possibly accompanied by higher margin requirements to control irrational exhuberance for blue chip and tech stocks.

I think we should also realize that a prolonged period of extremely depressed oil prices poses a national security threat to the US. Could trigger turmoil in the Middle East, Indonesia, Venezuala, etc. So don't bet on oil staying at these extremely depressed levels too long.
