Well I am a dumper. I will admit that I played PPOD for the short term. Got in at 6 1/16 and bought more at 8 5/8. Would have got out at 13 or so this morning but ETRADE would not accept orders. Right now I have been waiting six minutes to see if I got out or now. Put a market sell in when PPOD was around 9 1/16. I will watch PPOD for another buying opportunity as it is a sound company IMO.

The internet run is obviously over, and the market has pretty well topped IMO. I think I'll move to cash, but I'll keep an eye on PPOD for when my confidence in the market comes back.

Auric, I haven't read far back in this thread, so I'm curious as to your entry points in the stock and your play in it. (Hold till when or are you trading in and out?)

I got in the nines (bit high) and the sharp selloff at the close ran away on me. Not sure if I should take the loss or ride it out.

Do you have a buyout target price? (Sorry if this has been mentioned previously. I'm really strapped for time right now)

Thanks much,

Don't know if this was posted b4....found it in an Informix news release....confirmation that the Coles Myer deal is moving forward.

Coles Myer, Australia

"Coles Myer, Australia's leading retailer with approximately 18 percent share of all retail business in the country, has signed an agreement with Informix Software Pty Ltd. for database licenses, support and consulting required to support a major new E-Commerce initiative at Coles Myer. Under the agreement, Informix will license to Coles Myer Informix Dynamic Server, SQL, ESQL/C and INFORMIX-4GL to support Peapod, an online grocery shopping and delivery service to be introduced in Australia in 1999. Informix software will be used in conjunction with Peapod's software for a server-based shopping
application including certain business systems such as fulfillment management, product database administration, customer support and Peapod's one-to-one content targeting engine."
