To all,

I just ordered a new CPU for my home computer. I went with Cyrix MII-333. I would have to get a new motherboard for anything else.

But Cyrix offerings are beginning to significantly lag the mainstream market. It's about time they came up with faster chips. At least MII-350 would be ok short term, which according to specs is supposed to be 100 x 3 = 300 MHz, or PR-350.

It's kind of disappointing that there isn't one available yet. Halla mentioned that .25u process was yielding chips starting at 233 MHz. It's too bad that it ends at 250 MHz.
