The DOW was selling at an average P/E of 25.1 on Friday and the S&P500 at an average of 31.29. According to Message 6600567 the Fed models show the market is back in overvalued territory.

Perhaps Greenspan thinks that a selloff is in order.

Today 2 Dec Reserve Bank of Australia cut rates by .25% to 4.75%. Same day the GDP figures were released - 5% year on year growth. Stock-market went up. Deja vu vis a vis the US.
