IDTC.. I got in today at 20 1/4..but not with 2,000 shares but like 750.. I've had good success with IDTC and all through these last few 'iffy' days I've gotten 'prudent' stocks and not 'joined' the losers in the internet sector these last two days. I also was not among the major winners a week before that, but I've gotten accustomed to trade wisely, leaving more on the table rather than risking profits.. and g-d forbid risking capital...I am still bullish on IDTC however. and I am holding onto more cash than I have since September 5.

"Earnings Plays" a bit more 'secure' and dependable.....

CBS..bought a block for a longer term hold.. FLYR, CUST were picked up in Andy's portfolio.. FDX.. looked oversold but did very well. and FMY on the watch list as an earnings play did fine also.. For earnings plays, I'm not sure if I made myself clear, Lower Priced stocks are only a portion of the picks but you can not get away from the 'strength and dependability' of the larger companies if you want want to hold for a little longer or are planning to 'chance' a hold through earnings. I've been in CBS 12 times in the last 52 weeks and HBOC 11 times, FDX 4 times...etc.

The Newsletter is intended as well for longer term holds and in some cases make nice short term'investments'... It should be noted however that the focus for my plays are mostly for 2-5 day holds.. 1week-2week holds have been the most profitable, but that changes according to market climate. Daytrades are obviously for the indomitable internet sector and other 'hi-flying, large intraday range, big volume stocks. They are also reserved for volatile markets where a hold overnight could be a disaster.

The least of all are daytrading options and those are good for very volatile markets. The index puts/calls are excellent but due to my new focus on Market Gems I have almost left them alone as they require constant nurturing throughout the day.
