"I don't agree with that. You make it sound as if Jesus wrote the Bible."

This brings us back to who the scriptures claim wrote the prophecies.

"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" 2 Peter 1:21
If we can accept that then the Holy Ghost wrote the bible.

So who is the Holy Ghost?

"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." 1 John 5:7

Who is Jesus? He is also known in the bible as the Word.

John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him: and without him was not any thing made that was made.

vs 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

With these verses we have God in the flesh, the Creator, Jesus, walking on earth.

The bible claims that there are three personages that are God, three in one, and that Jesus is God and was made flesh. There are numerous other references in the bible for this.
With that a bible believing Christian does see Jesus as having given the scriptures as He is one with God the Father and the Holy Spirit.

What emphasis does God place on His word?
Psalm 12
6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Psalm 138
2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

"Keep in mind that the Bible was created by a world religion and denomination, and not Jesus, John."

The above is part of why I disagree with that statement. In fact because Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit who provided the prophecies (the bible) are one, then Jesus did in fact write the bible.

This is where the world confuses Jesus's identity with a prophet or just a good man who got a raw deal by a corrupt priesthood. The bible says plainly that he was in fact Immanuel, God with us, God in the flesh.

If that is the case then the bible has tremendous inescapable consequences and blessings spoken of in it's content, all of which lead to the message of salvation by grace through Jesus Christ.

Original sin?
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world (Adam), and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
Romans 5:12

Ephesians 2:8-9 Tells us that you are not saved by any good work and that you are saved only by God's grace.
An institution cannot hang anything over your head. The knowledge of salvation is for right here, right now. That is the good news of the gospel.
