Hi Clint, sorry to hear about your trades. On the other hand, that's part of the game. I just checked my trades for this years - more than 50% losing trades. Cutting losses is the key (i know, i don't have to tell you :o)
Having a REAL job i can't pay attention all day long. Anyone facing similar problems ? I use the YAHOO pager to send/receive important infos from a couple of cyber-trading-buddies. In case someone else uses the yahoo pager, my ID is jurgentrades

Hi Clint,

I am just dropping by for ADCT earnings. The conference call is at
1-888-298-2139. I don't have time to go over the numbers in detail.
It looks like 18 percent revenue growth Y-Y and 26 percent
income Y-Y. That is about in line with the 5 year growth rates,
so no surprises there. There was weakness in Business Broadband
connectivity and wireless. The wireless weakness was an
execution problem though. The wireless BTB is 2.6. Gross
margin increased. Homeworx is selling well. There 15
possible customers they can bid for in 1999 worldwide.
Good growth is anticipated in cable telephony. It looks good
for the first quarter of 1999 which is alway a strong Q for them.

If you are looking for the actual text and drawings for the patents
go to:

patents.ibm.com

All good product designers should spend some time on this site.
There is no point investing time and money on a new design
if it is going to get mired in patent disputes. There are better
ways to spend your R&D dollars than on lawyers.

I agreed on your apprasial on NN. They still need to get more RBOC
business if they are going to grow their revenues in a big way. They
still have not proven they can win RBOC business in a consistent
way.

Does anyone know what happened to ORTL today? It was up on
low volume on a down day. They already pre-announced a lousy
Q.

I have a product release for the end of January for testing
so I won't be around much.

Off topic:

Does anyone know how to get past the registration screen
on the Microsoft product support site. My browser seems
to be refusing the cookie. I have been using the Microsoft
Knowledge Base on the Compuserve system the past few years
when I have needed to look up something, but it looks like
they stopped supporting that and it now only exists on
their site. I am a registered user, but I can't seem to
get to any of the services.

Thanks in advanced.
