The opening line was Pats -3...I can't see the line moving any higher than that, but you never know given how much money may have been laid one NE. Regardless, if you bet on the Bills, what a way to have your heart ripped out. 21-17 with 11 seconds to go, Pats have a 4th and 9 at the Buffalo 36. Bledsoe throws 10 yards to Jefferson who is clearly out...OK no big deal, six seconds left at the Buffalo 26, last play...Hmm, pass interference, Henry Jones barely touched him, but OK they still need a touchdown, fake handoff to Edwards, Bledsoe to Coates, Bills lose a cheap one. I can see many a Miller being tossed toward the TV.

Nothing personal, but 25 - 21 = 4. ;-)

The spread was 3, so your point still stands. That's an even uglier way to lose money than the old "missed extra point". BTW, I hope Bledoe's false sense of self-worth lasts for a few more weeks, so he can knock off the Niners and give the Falcons a cushion.

Hi BBruin,

I think that the spread on the Pats/Bills was between 2 and 3.5. Things that make you go, "hmmm..."
