Tim ... there is a difference between "slamming stocks" and voicing a negative opinion. I for one own a couple internet stocks and, as you know, I am far from greedy but since I can only buy a limited amount of shares hate to sell a winner - like ONSL. I also had MALL and sold my measly 100 shares on Friday and thought I made a mistake (but I have so many losses - like Newz options - that I decided to take at least some profit). And having ONSL and MALL, I thought that ONSL was the better hold. As it turns out I should have sold both on Friday. But I am hopeful that ONSL will come back. I agree that the valuations are crazy - but they are that way on all the internet stocks, and I felt the same way about YHOO and AMZN last year, and look at those - not to mention EBAY as well. Why can't ONSL get back to 100?

Anyway, I appreciate your opinion as always - but I think Jane means that you don't have to be so forceful in your opinion. And it is just that, an opinion.

I am afraid that the margin requirements may cause a lot of concerns, but that these stocks will represent even better buys as a result because once this dies down, the second run will occur. You may be right, I may be right - or it may be somewhere in the middle. Your concerns are duly noted.

ON ANOTHER NOTE:
Hope you had an enjoyable holiday with your family and, in particular, your dad. This is what really counts.

you are making a fool of yourself....my guess would be that you missed out on much if the gains of the past week or so and are happy to see the nets fall..i agree we have been in the midst of a tulipmania, but one day does not a crash make...

Hey!!

I agree....and read your thread I even posted last night about this very subject.

But I think we are all adults here and assume whatever risk that comes with trading/investing..no?

You have become quite defensive. Youve been consistently "mentioning" XYLN among others over on your thread. But havent seen many attack your thoughts like you have done so regarding the 'Net stocks here today.

Anyways...to the new trader/investor..you have a strong point. But I dont need someone telling me how it is.

Take Care..

Mrs. Cleaver

This has got to be the biggest "pot calling the kettle black" post that I've ever seen!

<<why don't you think about all these people who don't know any better and buy these stocks at the high because all the the bullshit hype on all these threads ......these people are losing money and investing where they don't belong.>>

Hey man -- some of us remember when YOU were slobbering at the paws of Big Dog for DAYS waiting for his "big pick" with your "finger on the trigger." You were the Dog's very best friend, then ... licking the Dog's rear-end, just begging for DAYS for him to drop you his big pick. Of course, it turned out to be the infamous NBET. I guess you bought it on the Dog's say-so, because when it immediately tanked you promptly became Dog's fiercest enemy, chasing him all over a bunch of different threads, threatening him with torture and death, at a minimum.

Since Silicon Investor seems to be your only life ... don't forget that when you start lecturing others, your past lives forever in the archives here to haunt you.
