From what I've read, X-ray seems to have an edge - costwise. Also, remember that JMAR is involved in EUV as well as XRL, as Tim pointed out recently. With IBM devoting so much effort to XRL, I don't see how the industry can turn its back on a technology that has already been developed to the point of manufacturing insertion.
