"What is Mach6" -> Mach6 is three things... a website where you can get gap screens for free, and soon others on a subscription basis... a Java application which you can download and use to do charting, portfolio management and quotes... and now with the irc server, it's a place where you can chat about trading and/or talk directly with the development team. We all use our own software, and we're all internet investors, and we do our best to implement cool features that people want. It is possible that the nameserver didn't have the new name information... if so, you can use the machine's aliase r1.mach6.net, or just use the IP address 206.186.200.40. IP addresses are a last resort, names are always better to use...
