<Good to hear you think HK is turning the corner. Do you
think there is still a chance that they could go back to
the sub 7500 level in the future?>

Joe, it's totally possible that HK will go back to 7500 level. Eventhough the whole of Asia is showing some sign of bottoming out due to the US interest rate cuts, they were mostly officially in recessions and nobody can tell how long they will stay that way - maybe for years to come.

As for HK, its assets valuation is still extremely high, for example its pay rates, housing prices, and rental rates are still among the highest in the world. I think HK will see another round of asset depreciation before next year ends mainly due to its stubborn adherence to the fixed exchange rate.

My observation of China is that it's way overbuilt and report is that 66% of its mushrooming western style shopping malls are losing money.
