SANTA MONICA, Calif., Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Digitcom Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: DGIV - news) announced a program for ''Y2K'' compliance of its Resound call processing and voice mail systems. The program consists of two solutions, the first is a software upgrade for purchasers of Resound since December 1, 1997, and the second is a hardware and software upgrade for owners of systems bought before that date. Resound systems have been shipping with fully Y2K-compliant software since October 1, 1998. Resound users should contact their dealer to take advantage of this program. Implementation will involve a visit by their dealer's trained technician to their site while remote access to their system is made via modem by Digitcom's technical support personnel. A minimal interruption of service will be necessary, so early scheduling is recommended. Resound is the Company's call processing and Interactive Voice Response platform that was first introduced in 1986 by Digitcom Interactive Multimedia Corporation, the predecessor company to Digitcom.
