Hi Steve,

Please take this from someone that has learned this painful lesson one too many times: (See template and discreet logic)

Great technology, happy customers and mediocre to incompetent management do not make for a winning combination in the short or long haul.

Don't count on their strong technology to extract them. Pega's leadership is toxic waste, pray for a sell out if you're still saddled with long term stock. Trefler won't be able to fix it. You have to give Dave Stamm credit for seeing the weakness of an engineering lead management approach and bringing on Tony. However, clarify was still growing and had happy customers and solid
Pega is polluted by slippery accounting and poor leadership.technology.

(This is not to say there won't be a dead cat bounce, but i suspect things will get much worse over time.)

Steven,

Where did you get the impression that Pega has strong technology? In my observation they are very much a legacy software vendor that has the typical symptoms of functional breadth developed over the years, but trapped in an older architecture.
