Different underlying scale values will require a mapping from one scale to the other. Realize that MSWIN overlays the indicators to make use of the window "real estate". Where the indicators cross is likely to change if you zoom in/out on the chart, because hi/lo range of each indicator will change for different time periods.

If there is a fixed mapping between indicator ranges, you can calculate one of the indicators to use the other's scale. Then crossover is easy to identify. Otherwise, doing it with MSWIN will be a challenge.

Well, Paul's answer comes close, but my question to you is what trin has to do with a MACD? I would love to hear your logic.
