John,
Judging from the response to the share holder site, I have two thoughts.
1. I'm not going to look at the shareholder site.
2. Special internet sites for large client employees to purchase hardware at a discount is not good idea for Compaq.

John,

I am under the impression that employees get a 15% discount off the dealer price. Staff can only purchase one unit per annum though.

This is apparently true for the Middle East, Europe and Africa region. Not sure about the US.
