Dan,
I once saw both Clark and Jerry Jeff together at a show in Cambridge (Mass). They did not play together but both played solo accoustic--it was very, very good.
I remember some song he wrote about a jacknife. Don't remember much except that it was a wonderful song.

Jerry Jeff got a little funky in recent years but he did a nice job with Clark's songs-- and, he sometimes wrote some pretty good stuff, himself.
