s.l., That was pretty much my thinking. However, I think what has kept Safeguard together with such a concept (when it's working, it really works!) has been the nature of the people involved. Both the stability of the management and their qualities - they are very generous with their time for good causes, especially Musser, but I believe Caldwell is as well. To get a "bottom-line" type president could do damage. (Not to say Pete and Don aren't concerned with the bottom line, but I get a sense that there is more there.) Yes, "let's see who they get." I still wonder why Don is leaving. More challenge? Or not enough action coming at Safeguard itself? --John
