gil, a stock is trading at $30. I put a limit in at $28. I see it hit that and stay above for 20 minutes. Is $26 a reasonable price to get a limit fills?

How about a limit at 18-1/2 and get it filled at 16-1/8? And these aren't DELLS I'm trading.

How about an order I have a confirmed cancelation on Friday, and then they go and tell me on monday morning that the order was filled? I was lucky. The stock opened 12 points higher, and I got the sell at 7 points above.

I'm not harping on them for the limits fallen through, apparently others have a more scary story. That I attribute to the MMs manipulating the markets.

BUT THE SITE IS CONSISTANTLY DOWN. This is unexcusable. That is where I was figuring my losses from. plain and . I can't make a timely trade.period!

BTW, I faired better on my market orders than I did on my limits. All market sells yesterday went through higher than when places them.

AMTD still charges for their bogus real time quote service? The most cumbersome quote service I have ever seen...

Welcome to free level II for active traders:
fnews.yahoo.com.

And yes, I have emailed them a few times in the past regarding their lame quote service, and received a polite reply that it was going to be changing soon....yeah, and the millennium is coming soon also.
