Amazon PR department is trying once again desperately to hold their stock price up, today they repeated the broadcast.com deal and announced a deal with hoovers research online. Both deals of course add nothing to Amazon's bottom line, and are nothing more than Amazon paying to advertise on more websites. Yawn.

It will be interesting to see what else they can pull out of their hat as the stock dips below 100 this week. They already shot their wad with the 3:1 split..

Maybe they'll announce framed Amazon stock certificates in their gift shop? (signed by the insiders who sold them, of course)
